Tested on 13.0.6 RC.
When you assign a new role, the "Valid from" is empty. Originally (on 12.2.5), it was prefilled with:
When you assign a new role, the "Valid from" is empty. Originally (on 12.2.5), it was prefilled with:
- current date - if the contract was already running
- date of start of the contract - if the contract was in the future
This behavior is risky especially when working with future contracts (case 2). If you have a standard role (which doesn't use the option "Forward account management") and you assign this role with validity in the future, the account will not be created/updated according to this role. But if the role is assigned without validity, it is immediately active and the account will be created/updated, even though the contract is not valid yet.
