Found by David, tested also on 13.0.1
It's not possible to change the date in the field "Protected until". You get "Account [jednatel] cannot be updated! Account [jednatel] cannot removed from protected state manually!"

Implemented. Apart from enabling changing the end of protection date, I added support for force account delete in the bulk action.
