AD wizard - transition from step 4 to step 5 fail with "You need to select at least one protocol for test method"

Description
When I connect the AD via AD + WinRM connector using the wizard, get to the step 4 and loose conectivity to the AD server. I close the wizard. In my case this happened when I connected from my local test environment to the test AD environment in net I connected to via VPN. The VPN connection failed and I managed to re-connect after some time. Then I continued configuring the system connection.
I Reopened the connection via wizard. Got successfully to step 4. Then I clicked "Next" and after some time I got this error:
In AD+WinRM connector you have to select the method to be used for "Test connection" action. However when closing wizard at step 4 no method is selected in the created system.
This has a very low priority.

I tested described scenario several times but I wasn't able to induce the described issue in the current version 11.1.0-SNAPSHOT where prospective fix is supposed to go.
It's been probably fixed by development. I was only able to reproduce it in the version 10.8.4. After consultation with @svandav we came to conclusion to close this ticket.
