I was able to replicate the issue with MS AD.
The report uses dry run to simulate provisioning and some exceptions are just ignored in dry run. In this case, an object was assumed to be embedded but wasn't in this case. That's probably because the provisioning operation is prepared in a builder and then set as the content of the event; in that case, the account just isn't embedded. I fixed it conservatively; changing the provisioning operation builder would be better but that's a public API and it could lead to some issues.
