Defect #1235
closedUnable to log in after installation
100%
Description
We've installed CzechIdM 9.0.0 on a SLES server with Tomcat 8.5 and with MSSQL database.
After the installation we cannot log in as admin with a default password.
We've tried to install IdM again with a new empty DB and it didn't help.

I didn't find problem in product, so I try debug project enviroment and then I found the problem.
The JDBC driver sqljdbc4-4.0.0.jar that was deployed on environment is probably deprecated (last update Jun, 2012 - usages 0). All three new driver that I tested was recommended by community and microsoft and works well. I only change driver to correct and everything works well.
Beware driver sqljdbc4-4.0.0.jar and sqljdbc4-4.0.jar it's not same drivers! Both has very similar names, but drivers are not same.
I highly recommend use one of these drivers:- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.microsoft.sqlserver/sqljdbc4 (Mar, 2016 - usages 36),
- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.microsoft.sqlserver/mssql-jdbc/6.4.0.jre8 (Feb, 2018 - usages 23).
